What is your relationship with deliberatepractice?
I am currently cofounder and Managing Partner of sister organisation, deliberatedge. Whilst working closely with the deliberatepractice team over the last two years, my official duties have sat firmly within the deliberatedge sphere. I am incredibly excited to be taking on the role of Partner and Executive Director within deliberate practice and will assume a practice lead role for the performance practice post June 30.
What attracted you to work within this industry?
I spent the early part of my career as a Mechanical Engineer. Following that, I moved into the talent space where I spent nearly ten years working both in-house and for consulting firms. Over the last 5 years I have been lucky enough to draw upon both phases of my career through strategic workforce planning. The attraction for me now lies in bringing data, logic and process together to build informed, evidence-based people initiatives for clients.
What do you see for the future of deliberatepractice?
With my new role supporting the performance practice within deliberatepractice, I see boundless opportunities to leverage workforce and people analytics to better inform client initiatives. Imagine a world where our people investment is optimised to ensure the work we do with, to and on the workforce has a direct link to organisational strategy and is informed and prioritised using advanced HR analytics!
